What we check before approving an application.

We review each application to confirm that the organization is active, locally connected, and doing the work described. Formal registration may be requested where applicable, but community-based organizations may also apply. Applicants may be asked to provide: registration information (if available), public social media or an existing website, an organization contact, a description of current work, and photos, reports, or program materials. DearAfrica does not independently verify or guarantee any organization's financial standing or performance.
